David Adams is currently employed with the New York Yankees where he has held the role of manager, defensive coach, & extended coordinator, within Player Development. He retired from playing baseball in 2016 after 9 professional seasons. He made his Major League Baseball debut with the NYY where he spent time playing 3B, 2B and 1B. Through his first 10 games as a Yankee, he hit .300 with 2HR, 3 2B, 5RBI, and 6R. He hit safely in 10 of his first 11 games with a hitting streak of 7 games. Prior to his debut, the Yankees assigned Adams to play in the Arizona Fall League, where he played second and third base. Adams was selected to the Arizona Fall League Rising Stars Game and won player of the week on 11/13/2012. In his time as a professional baseball player, Adams has played in the Yankees, Indians, Orioles, Marlins and Blue Jays Organizations. Throughout his career he has been selected as a organizational All-Star, mid-season All-Star, post-season All-Star.
